Graduate IT Support Analyst

Our client, a highly successful and forward-thinking company, is actively looking for a bright and motivated Graduate IT Support Analyst to join their expanding tech team. This is an exceptional entry-level opportunity for a recent graduate to launch their IT career within a business that heavily invests in technical training and career progression.

We are seeking a Graduate IT Support Analyst who is ready to put their academic knowledge into practice. You will be the friendly first point of contact for internal staff experiencing technical issues. With guidance from senior team members, you will quickly learn to troubleshoot hardware and software problems, manage the IT service desk, and support wider infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT queries, accurately logging tickets via the IT Service Management (ITSM) system.

  • Provide initial 1st-line troubleshooting for Windows/Mac operating systems, Microsoft 365, and bespoke business applications.

  • Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of new user hardware (laptops, desktops, and mobile devices).

  • Manage user access, onboarding, and offboarding through Active Directory.

  • Help maintain clear and accurate IT documentation and asset registers.

  • Shadow 2nd and 3rd-line engineers on complex technical issues and infrastructure upgrades.

What Our Client is Looking For:

  • A recent degree (BSc or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Networking, or a related technical discipline.

  • A fundamental understanding of core IT concepts (e.g., basic networking, Windows OS, Microsoft Office suite).

  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with the ability to remain calm and helpful under pressure.

  • A logical, analytical approach to problem-solving.

  • A strong, demonstrable passion for technology and a self-motivated drive to learn new systems and earn professional certifications.

  • Previous customer-facing work experience (e.g., retail or hospitality) is a bonus, as it demonstrates strong interpersonal skills.
