As part of their continued expansion, they are seeking a QA Tester to join their growing development team and play a key role in ensuring the quality and stability of their software products.The Role The QA Tester will work closely with the development and product teams, taking responsibility for the quality of the company’s applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical testing skills and a proactive approach to identifying, documenting, and resolving issues across multiple environments.This is a full-time hybrid role based in the North West (UK).Requirements
- Experience with Python, Playwright, and Pytest.
- Skilled in API testing using Postman.
- Familiarity with Git and Bitbucket for version control.
- Working knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- Experience using Allure for test reporting.
- Exposure to BrowserStack or similar testing platforms.
- Proficiency with Jira for defect tracking and sprint management.
- Take ownership of testing across assigned projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to implement robust QA strategies.
- Develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases.
- Review sprint work to deliver stable builds on time.
- Identify risks, escalate issues, and ensure continuous improvements in QA practices.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation throughout all stages of testing.
- Previous experience working within a software development or technology team.
- Knowledge of bug reporting workflows and issue management processes.
- Experience testing complex, multi-layered applications.
- Understanding of implementing and managing structured QA processes.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Passion for building reliable, high-quality products using modern testing practices.
