Principal Software Engineer £75,000 (DOE) + benefits Liverpool (hybrid)

Hyperloop Recruitment is partnering with a leading Liverpool-based tech firm who are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to join their team.

This role would suit a Principal Software Engineer seeking a challenging next step in their career; this is a mix of both hands-on work (TypeScript focused stack) & technical leadership, so the ability to work directly with senior leadership is key, as well as experienced mentoring junior/mid-level Engineers.

This position is at the forefront of an entire platform rebuild, & requires an experienced, highly proficient developer with excellent backend skills working on designing services, data flows & integrations.

Tech stack:

Highly proficient in building production systems in Node.js / TypeScript Frontend capabilities using React, Next.js Cloud experience (Azure or AWS) Fluency with modern AI coding tools Technical leadership / architectural design/decision making CI/CD, IaC, testing
