Cad Technician

Hyreus are working on a new live role for a Project based CAD Technician

Responsibilites:

Creating 2D drawings and ensuring the appropriate file attributes are captured correctly.

Ensuring the appropriate file attributes are captured correctly by others providing drawing and BIM information to the Project.

Producing and/or amending information in accordance with the project plans

Ensuring graphical models (which they produce) are spatially coordinated (clash avoidance); escalating any interface issues to the Design Manager / BIM Coordinator

Ensuring all elements of the Information Model are fully coordinated with each other.

Submitting information for approval in accordance with the BEP

Supporting and deputising for the BIM Coordinator when not appointed yet or where required and appropriate.

Undertaking appropriate works requested by the BIM Coordinator/Manager for the benefit of the wider company.

Any other duties consistent with your discipline, status and seniority, as necessary to meet the needs of the Business of the Company.

Experience with 4D software is advisable.
