Our systems are built on a modern technology stack including Angular, React, .NET (C#), MS SQL, and TypeScript , and we continuously evolve them to support the needs of our teams and customers.
As our software portfolio grows, we are looking to strengthen our quality assurance capability with a dedicated Software Tester / QA Engineer who can help improve test coverage, identify risks early, and contribute to more reliable releases.
The Role
We are seeking a Software Tester / QA Engineer to join our team and take an active role in ensuring the quality of our in-house applications. You will work closely with developers, product stakeholders, and project teams to design and execute test plans, identify defects, and support the delivery of stable, high-quality software.
The role will involve both manual testing and contributing to automated test coverage , helping us extend and improve our existing testing suites.
This role is Mon-Fri on-site at our HQ, BN2.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and regression tests for new features and system changes
- Perform manual functional and exploratory testing across web applications and internal systems
- Identify, document, prioritise, and verify software defects
- Work closely with developers during sprint cycles to ensure features meet acceptance criteria
- Contribute to the improvement and expansion of automated test coverage
- Test APIs, integrations, and backend services within our .NET environment
- Validate data integrity using MS SQL queries where required
- Support release testing and quality checks prior to deployment
- Help refine and improve QA processes, documentation, and standards
Technology Environment
Our current stack includes:
- Frontend: Angular, React, TypeScript

- Database: Microsoft SQL Server
- Applications: Web-based internal platforms and services
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in a Software Tester / QA Engineer or similar role
- Strong manual testing experience with web applications
- Experience testing applications built with Angular and/or React
- Experience testing .NET / C# APIs or backend services
- Good working knowledge of SQL / MS SQL for data validation
- Experience creating and maintaining test cases, test plans, and defect reports
- Familiarity with issue tracking tools such as Jira, Asana, or similar
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing
Desirable Skills
- Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar
- Experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman or equivalent
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
- Understanding of exploratory and risk-based testing techniques
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, collaboration, and proactive mindset.
