Role
Technical Duties:
- Respond promptly to support requests via telephone and email
- Diagnose and resolve basic end-user IT issues
- Escalate complex technical problems to senior service desk personnel
- Continuously develop knowledge across vendor products offered by the business
- Stay informed on emerging cybersecurity threats through industry resources
- Take ownership of personal learning and development
General Responsibilities:
- Deliver a professional, helpful, and adaptable service to both internal and external customers
- Uphold company values and represent idash Solutions positively in all interactions
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and health and safety standards
- Promote equality, diversity, and customer-centric principles in all aspects of work
- Provide support to team members and undertake additional duties as directed by your line manager
Training
The classroom training for the Information Communications Technician comprises of 4 modules. The apprentice will attend the training in an online classroom with their designated JBC trainer.
The modules taught are:
- Network Fundamentals
- Mobility and Operating Systems
- Cloud Fundamentals
- IT Business Principles
Each module is delivered remotely over five consecutive days, with the training weeks scheduled at intervals throughout the apprenticeship.
A full-time opportunity may be offered after the successful completion of the apprenticeship based on the apprentice's performance throughout the duration of the apprenticeship.
