Head of Software now needed for a well established company in a beautiful location nearby to Bournemouth and Southampton. This is a superb opportunity for an experienced Software Team Lead/ Manager who has a strong technical background in embedded C/C++ ideally gained in an industrial /engineering sector.

*****salary to circa £80k with benefits and hybrid/remote working************

Responsible for a small but growing team of Engineers, the Head of Software will provide people management and team leadership in the design, development and delivery of products, applications and services within a multidisciplinary team environment. You will also propose solutions to technical issues, ensure the delivered solution meets the technical specifications and design requirements. Software will include both firmware, PC and Mobile implementations.

Suitable applicants will have experience of the full development lifecycle including architecture development and approval, product design, production implementation, additional feature development, and transition to new platforms. You will also have proven software team leadership skills and management experience. You must have experience of leading, motivating and driving results from a core skill engineering team.
