Senior FPGA Engineer

IC Resources is delighted to be supporting an AI company transforming the performance of critical workloads on FPGAs.

This is a hands-on engineering role for a Senior FPGA Engineer, working with the most cutting-edge AI-capable FPGAs available today. You’ll play a key part in developing high-performance, full-stack acceleration pipelines—defining how the FPGA team works and shaping how AI workloads are deployed on next-generation silicon.

As the Senior FPGA Engineer, you’ll have early access to new FPGA platforms from major chip vendors, work across the full design lifecycle, and join a team passionate about solving complex performance bottlenecks in real-world AI systems.

Key skills required:

• Full FPGA design lifecycle experience
• RTL design in Verilog, SystemVerilog and/or VHDL
• Proficiency in C, C++ or Python for hardware-software integration
• Familiarity with Quartus, Vivado or similar toolchains
• Experience optimising RTL for performance and resource usage
• Comfortable in Linux-based development environments
