Senior/Lead Backend Developer - Java, Spring

This tech company develop data visualisation tools and workflow solutions for some of the largest engineering companies in the world.

They are looking to hire a Senior/Lead Backend Developer to join their expanding team.

This is a hands-on technical role with additional responsibility for supporting technical leadership, code quality, and delivery continuity across the team.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain back-end services and APIs
• Provide code review and technical guidance
• Contribute to architectural and technical decisions
• Support delivery workflows and engineering operations
• Deputise for the VP of Engineering when required

• Java 8+
• Spring Boot
• SQL
• Git

• Linux
• AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
• Maven

Experience of the following would be highly desirable:

• OracleDB
• Jenkins
• Podman
• Nginx
• JIRA workflows
• Confluence
• Bitbucket
