This deep-tech company is developing next-generation autonomous platforms across ground, air and marine systems, combining embedded software, edge AI and robotics to deliver adaptive, real-world autonomy. The team are now looking for an Autonomous Platforms / Edge AI Developer to support the design and deployment of intelligent systems running directly on embedded and edge hardware.
You’ll work closely with researchers, roboticists and embedded engineers, helping translate advanced AI and control concepts into reliable, real-time software on autonomous platforms.
For this Autonomous Platforms / Edge AI Developer role, we are looking for someone with:
- Strong experience developing C++ software for embedded or edge systems
- Experience deploying algorithms on real robotic or autonomous platforms
- Background working with robotics middleware such as ROS / ROS2
- Understanding of real-time constraints, sensor fusion and control systems
- Ability to optimise software for hardware-constrained environments
- Ideally, experience with SLAM, autonomy, or AI-driven decision-making systems
