Senior Validation Engineer – Edinburgh

A Senior Validation Engineer is required to join a growing technology company developing advanced electronic systems for mobile and wireless applications. The Senior Validation Engineer will take ownership of hardware and system‐level validation activities across complex products. This Senior Validation Engineer role offers hands‐on technical responsibility with clear impact on product quality and release.

Responsibilities

• Own validation planning and execution for electronic and system‐level designs

• Develop and run validation test plans, procedures and reports

• Perform hardware bring‐up, debugging and fault investigation

• Work with design, firmware and test teams to resolve issues and close gaps

• Support environmental, regulatory and compliance testing where required

• Contribute to continuous improvement of validation processes and methodologies

Requirements

• Strong background in electronics or systems validation

• Experience with lab equipment, test automation or structured test methodologies

• Ability to analyse failures and work closely with design engineers to resolve issues

• Comfortable working across hardware and system boundaries

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline
