Senior Consultant – Organisational Agility & Business Transformation (Financial Services)

We are partnering with a leading management consultancy and recognised thought and practise leader in organisational transformation and agility to appoint an Agile and Transformation Consultant to join their growing Financial Services practice.

This is a senior, client-facing role suited to experienced transformation professionals who lead in developing complex agile environments, and thrive in shaping and delivering corporate enterprise-scale change.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will work with senior client stakeholders within respected global financial services brands across Banking, Insurance, Wealth & Asset Management, Pensions and Payments, leading large-scale transformation programmes that accelerate value delivery and embed sustainable ways of agile working practices.

You will play a key role in helping organisations connect strategy to execution, redesign operating models, and adopt agile, product-centric approaches at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shaping and leading enterprise-wide agile and business transformations
  • Partner with executive and C-suite stakeholders to embrace and adopt agile ways of working
  • Design and embed agile operating models, portfolio structures, and governance
  • Enable leadership teams to adopt new skills, behaviours, and ways of working
  • Connect organisational strategy to portfolios, products, and delivery teams
  • Work in blended client/consulting teams, focusing on outcomes rather than theory
  • Contribute to thought leadership and internal capability development

Required Experience

Candidates will typically demonstrate experience gained through management consulting and/or senior industry roles, including:

  • Financial Services sector expertise (banking, insurance, asset/wealth management, payments)
  • Agile transformation at scale, including benefits tracking and executive enablement
  • Business design and operating model transformation
  • Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) and transition from projects to products, OKR frameworks and implementing portfolio Kanbans
  • Product management and product lifecycle management through each product lifecycle stage
  • Strong stakeholder management across critical enabling functions (HR, Finance, Risk, Operations) to help develop organisational agility and sustainable adoption
  • Analytical thinking, client centric collaboration, communication and stakeholder management

Desirable Experience

  • Training certifications - SAFe, (SPCT accreditation), LeSS or Scrum@Scale, Kanban Mgmt professional
  • Experience leading and running consulting assignments or delivery teams
  • Regulatory or consumer-focused change within Financial Services
  • Change framework design and evolution as the client moves more fully to agile ways of working

Location & Working Model

  • Hybrid working (minimum 2 days per week in office or on client site)
  • London base
  • Travel to client sites in the UK and internationally as required, including Australia, US and Nordics
