Role Profile
The Head of Data leads the organisation's data strategy, advanced analytics, and system integration efforts. This role is responsible for building and scaling data capabilities that enable data-driven decision-making across the business.
By overseeing teams focused on data Analytics & Reporting, data engineering, and Data Governance, this leader creates robust, scalable, and secure data pipelines and advanced analytical models, ultimately driving better insights and outcomes for the organisation.
Responsibilities include:* Define and execute a holistic data strategy aligned with organisational objectives.* Lead teams of data analysts in developing predictive models and advanced analytics solutions.* Architect, maintain, and scale robust data infrastructures, including ETL/ELT pipelines, data lakes, and warehouses.* Establish and maintain a comprehensive data governance framework meeting regulatory and security standards.* Partner with cross-functional teams to define data needs and deliver tailored solutions.* Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and collaborate with Information Security to implement secure data handling practices.
Candidate Profile
Requirements include:* Demonstrable experience in Data.
* Extensive experience in a leadership role. * Proven track record in leading data science and data engineering teams or functions. * Hands-on experience with machine learning, predictive modelling, statistical analysis, and integration strategy/implementation. * Experience implementing and managing ETL/ELT pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses. * Proven track record of successfully leading organization-wide transformation of data strategy & supporting governance.
