We’re supporting a leading elite sports organisation with the appointment of a Data Analyst, Performance to join its performance function.

Sitting at the centre of data, coaching and performance, this person will help turn match and player data into clear insight that supports preparation, player development and on-pitch performance.

What You'll Do:

• Match and player analysis across pre-match, live and post-match environments
• Opposition and internal performance analysis using event, tracking, physical and video data
• Building reports, dashboards and visualisations for coaches and sporting leadership
• Developing performance indicators and benchmarks aligned to the team’s tactical approach
• Working closely with coaches, video analysts, sports science and medical teams
• Improving analytical workflows and how data is used across the performance department

What You'll Bring:

• 2+ years’ experience within professional football or an equivalent elite sporting environment
• Strong football tactical knowledge
• Experience working with football datasets and tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL or Python
• Exposure to performance-data and video-analysis platforms
• The ability to turn complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations
