IT Technician Midlands & North West (travel to schools required; some work throughout England) Full time, permanent (part time considered) £26,000

The Role We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable IT Technician to deliver high-quality IT support and installation services to schools across the Midlands and Northwest.

Key Responsibilities: Provide on-site IT support across multiple school sites Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems (client and server) Configure and manage network switches and wireless systems Support and maintain AV equipment, including projectors, screens, and sound systems Assist with user account management, software deployment, and IT housekeeping tasks What We Offer: Competitive salary based on experience 32 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays) Opportunity to work in a supportive and mission-driven environment Consideration for part-time applicants The Ideal Candidate Previous experience supporting IT in a school or education setting Strong understanding of Microsoft operating systems (Windows 10/11, Server 2016/2019) Experience with switch configuration and wireless network management Experience of a server based network environment Familiarity with audio-visual equipment and its integration in classrooms Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional approach A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites Desirable: Relevant IT certifications (e.g.
