Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Network Engineer with a strong background in AV networking and systems integration to conduct an independent review of our client's current infrastructure and support the implementation of improvements.
Role Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive, independent assessment of existing network infrastructure across multiple theatre locations
- Identify root causes of stability and performance issues
- Provide clear, actionable recommendations for optimisation and resilience
- Implement agreed changes in collaboration with our internal Engineering team and external partners
- Ensure secure, reliable storage and data handling across a complex, distributed network
- Document network architecture, changes, and best practices for ongoing maintenance
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer in complex, multi-site environments
- Hands-on experience with AV networking systems, including:
- Dante AV Networking
- Avid EuCon
- Harman HiQnet
- Strong understanding of network design, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation
- Experience with secure storage solutions over distributed networks
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong documentation and communication skills
Desirable
- Experience working within theatre, live events, or broadcast environments
- Familiarity with Real Time audio/video workflows
- Knowledge of network security best practices in AV environments
Engagement Scope
This role will begin with an independent review phase, followed by a hands-on implementation phase to address identified issues.
