DV Cleared System Administrator/MPS Technician
We have a rolling contract for a System Administrator/MPS Technician to work onsite in Yeovilton, Somerset.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple VMware vCenter & ESXi Servers
- Manage Windows Servers, AD, DNS, DHCP
- Basic maintenance of Switches and Firewalls
- Maintain GPS Time Server
- Install and maintain multiple server and client software applications
- Renewing certificates
- Managing VIASAT encrypted drives
- Escorting and assisting 3rd level engineers
- Assist with testing and verification of new systems
- Assist with VEEAM Backup
- Supporting local ServiceDesk
- Maintaining documentation on assigned systems
- Support to VDI maintenance, and thin clients
- Print server support.
- Install Sharepoint and SQL server patches.
Skills:
- 5 years experience working in either an IT System Administrator or IT Service Desk Support role.
- Extensive Windows Server Administration Experience.
- Intermediate Network maintenance and configuration experience.
- Advanced Workstation system administration experience.
- Experience working on multiple IT systems simultaneously in a fast moving dynamic environment.
- ITIL v3 Foundation
- The following experience would be advantageous: TCE621, VIASAT drives, VEEAM Backup, Active Directory, DHS, DHCP, VMware vCenter, SQL Server, Trellix EPO, Dell Switches
Candidates should ideally hold either active DV Clearance or NATO Cosmic clearance.
This role has been determined as being outside IR35
