The Data Analyst will join a HRIS Technology Transformation Programme as part of the Data Migration workstream responsible for supporting the migration of data from a multitude of disparate system onto a new single HRIS platform. The role requires a methodical, autonomous individual, who can work calmly under pressure and not be phased by the magnitude of the data challenges the project entails. With over 50+ systems and sources involved in the migration, the individual must be dedicated and willing to deliver to meet critical deadlines. Project experience would be very beneficial to the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data collection and processing: Identify, collect, and organize data from various sources.
  • Data cleaning and preparation: Clean and dissect raw data to remove irrelevant information and ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Data Reconciliation: To assist the Data Migration Team with the reconciliation of legacy system data.
  • Data Summarisation: To assist the Data Migration Team with summarising of data from the reconciliation process.
  • To help coordinate Project Panning activities i.e. Planning, Task Management, Stakeholder orchestrations, Chairing Meetings and Minuting calls.

Critical Competencies for Success

  • Technical skills: Proficiency in data transformation software, data analysis tools (like SQL, Tableau, Power Query, Python). Advanced Excels skills at minimum required.
  • Mathematical skills: Strong foundation in math to calculate and interpret data.
  • Communication skills: Ability to communicate complex data and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Teamwork: Capacity to collaborate with other employees to turn data into actionable plans.
  • Project management: Skills in organizing, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.
