IT & Infrastructure Manager
Job Title: IT & Infrastructure Manager Location: Ripon Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pmA skilled IT & Infrastructure Manager is sought to join a well established, internationally operating but close knit business based in Ripon! This is a hands on and strategic role for a tech savvy professional to lead IT operations, support users and drive improvements across systems and infrastructure. You’ll ensure reliability, security and efficiency while also leading projects and enhancing technology in a collaborative environment.Your Duties as IT & Infrastructure Manager will include:
- Manage and support all IT operations including servers, networks, PCs, laptops and printers
- Provide application software support across Office 365, accounting and a third party ERP system
- Ensure the security and integrity of the company's data and technology infrastructure including implementing protective measures and ensuring legal/audited compliance
- Support and maintain the company website and e-commerce platforms
- Plan and implement IT and infrastructure projects including hardware installations, software updates and system improvements
- Provide reporting and data analysis for management teams from ERP/CRM systems
- Manage premises maintenance and coordinate with contractors and service providers
- Ensure the operations are running within health and safety regulations and employment law standards
- Positive work ethic and ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Professional exposure in an IT role with a broad technical skillset
- In depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows server configuration and network environments
- Experience working with ERP and CRM systems is essential
- Logical thinking and confident troubleshooting skills
- Strong planning, organisational and reporting abilities
- Forward thinking with an interest in emerging technologies and innovation
- Ability to lead change including introducing new technologies, upgrades and automation
- SQL database management skills (desirable but not essential)
