Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, with hybrid working available

Our client is looking to recruit an IT Manager to take ownership of their IT environment and provide technical leadership across the organisation. This is a broad and hands on position where you'll be responsible for the reliable operation, security and development of IT systems, while supporting colleagues and helping to shape the organisation's future technology strategy.
Working across day to day IT operations, systems, security and technology projects, you'll manage external suppliers, improve processes and ensure the organisation has secure, reliable and effective technology in place to support its ongoing requirements.
Key Responsibilities as IT Manager:
- Take responsibility for the reliable, secure and effective operation of the organisation's IT environment, systems and user technology
- Manage and maintain cloud based IT services, user accounts, access permissions and security controls
- Oversee key business applications and systems, providing technical support and resolving issues
- Manage IT operations including user onboarding and offboarding, hardware and software provisioning, access management and documentation
- Provide technical leadership within the IT function, supporting colleagues and acting as a senior point of contact for IT matters
- Manage relationships with external IT providers and technology suppliers, monitoring service performance, costs and project requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve IT processes through automation, system integration and more efficient ways of working
- Lead and support ongoing technology projects and improvements, ensuring systems remain secure, reliable and appropriate for the organisation's needs
Experience Required:
- Previous experience within an IT Manager, IT Operations Manager, IT Lead or similar senior technical position
- Strong hands on experience managing modern business IT environments
- Good understanding of IT security, user access and data protection principles
- Experience managing business critical systems and supporting users across an organisation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Experience managing external IT suppliers, service providers or technology partners
- Previous experience providing technical leadership, mentoring or line management
- Comfortable balancing strategic IT responsibilities with hands-on technical work
- Experience with automation, scripting or system integration would be advantageous
- Strong understanding of cloud based technologies and modern workplace systems
- A proactive approach, with the ability to investigate issues and take ownership through to resolution
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing operational and project requirements
- Confident communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical colleagues
In Return as IT Manager you will receive:
- Salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Monday to Friday, full time working hours
