About the Role

The Account Manager will focus on ensuring the delivery of data collection, metering, and customer services in line with commercial contracts, fostering long-term relationships, and identifying opportunities for growth within existing accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the commercial management of a group of clients within a dedicated channel.
  • Conduct regular account reviews to assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Be an active lead in contributing to the Third-Party Intermediary and End User account management strategy.
  • Contribute to the management of the business as a part of the wider Commercial function.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with end user and partnerships key accounts.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for end users and partners in the region.
  • Monitor the quality of data collection, metering, and customer services provided to accounts.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement account growth strategies.
  • Develop collaborative client focused relationships with all internal departments; identify key trends/issues with a view to achieving process improvements and measuring the success of these.
  • Lead operational teams through commercial issues to ensure issues are resolved operationally and contractually if needed.
  • Financial management and reporting of dedicated client portfolio.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Demonstrable experience of success in an account management role, preferably within the energy sector or a related industry.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing key accounts.
  • Experience with CRM software and account management tools.
  • Experience of creating and working with KPI's and data to aid good decision making.
  • Experience of working within a SaaS organisation (*).
  • Experience in a Private Equity owned business environment (*).
  • Agile Methodologies (*).
