Salary: £30,000–£36,000

Our client, a leading organisation in its sector, is hiring a 2nd Line Support Engineer to provide high-quality technical support and help maintain a reliable, secure IT environment. This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad technology stack while developing your troubleshooting and customer-facing skills in a collaborative team.
What you'll do:
- Provide 2nd line support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents and service requests
- Support Microsoft environments including Windows, Office 365, and Active Directory
- Assist with system upgrades, patches, and ongoing maintenance
- Document solutions and contribute to knowledge base articles
You’ll work closely with 1st line support, infrastructure teams, and wider business stakeholders to ensure issues are resolved efficiently and users remain productive.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a 2nd line or similar IT support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, and Active Directory
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
