2nd Line Support Engineer

Location: Fully Remote

Day Rate: £190 per day (Outside IR35)

Contract Length: 3 months

Our client, a leading managed service provider, is looking for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to support a busy service desk environment. This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of cloud-based technologies, with a strong focus on Azure, supporting multiple clients in a fast-paced setting.

What you’ll do

  • Provide 2nd line technical support across infrastructure and cloud environments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents and service requests
  • Support and administer Microsoft Azure environments
  • Work across user, device, and access management within cloud platforms
  • Collaborate with 1st and 3rd line teams to ensure timely issue resolution

You’ll work closely with service desk teams and wider technical specialists to deliver a high standard of support across a varied client base.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in a 2nd Line Support role within an MSP environment
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 and cloud technologies
  • Experience managing and resolving tickets in a service desk environment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows environments
