Salary: £30,000 – £36,000

Our client, a leading organisation in its sector, is hiring a 2nd Line Support Engineer to provide high-quality technical support across their internal user base. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in maintaining IT operations while developing your technical expertise in a collaborative environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide 2nd line support for hardware, software, and network issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated tickets from 1st line support
  • Manage and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access controls
  • Support Microsoft environments including Windows OS and Office 365
  • Assist with system upgrades, installations, and ongoing maintenance

You’ll work closely with the wider IT team and key stakeholders to ensure systems are reliable, secure, and performing effectively.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in a 2nd line support role or similar position
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
  • Understanding of Active Directory, networking fundamentals, and hardware troubleshooting
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with a user-focused approach
