Role: Application Support Analyst

Location: Gloucester (Hybrid Working)

Salary: £34,000 - £36,000 DOE

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Resolving 2nd line application support tickets efficiently and independently
• Supporting changes, upgrades, testing, and deployment of new software and features
• Liaising with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues
• Creating and maintaining support documentation and knowledge base content
• Assisting with asset tracking and contributing to automation efforts
• Acting as a subject matter expert across a defined portfolio of applications

What You’ll Bring:

• Experience in 1st or 2nd line support within a Windows environment
• Good working knowledge of tools like Remote Desktop, Active Directory, and Office 365
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
• A methodical approach and calm, customer-focused attitude
• Experience working to SLAs and managing your own ticket queue

Bonus Skills (Not Essential):

• PowerShell scripting or experience with automation tools (PDQ, SCCM, Intune)
• Knowledge of Windows Server environments
• Experience with formal change management processes

Additional Info:

• Full-time permanent role (37 hours/week)
• Hybrid working: Gloucester-based with flexible home/office split
• Occasional travel within the local area may be required
• On-call rota may apply (with additional pay)
