Our client, a leading organisation, is looking to appoint a Business Systems Developer to support the development, integration, and optimisation of critical business systems across the organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in improving operational efficiency, enhancing data quality, and driving system connectivity across multiple platforms. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver robust solutions that support growth and digital transformation initiatives.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations between business-critical systems
  • Support and enhance ERP platforms to ensure optimal performance and functionality
  • Develop and maintain SQL databases, queries, procedures, and reporting solutions
  • Manage data integrity, governance, and migration activities across systems
  • Analyse business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration, application, and database-related issues
  • Support ongoing system improvement projects and digital transformation initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party suppliers to deliver system enhancements

You'll work closely with IT, operational teams, finance, and key business stakeholders to ensure systems are aligned with business objectives and capable of supporting future growth.

What we're looking for

  • Strong commercial experience as a Business Systems Developer, Systems Developer, or similar role
  • Proven experience delivering and supporting system integrations
  • Strong understanding of data management, data quality, and data governance principles
  • Experience working with ERP systems and associated business processes
  • Advanced SQL development skills, including database design, querying, and optimisation
  • Experience with APIs, ETL processes, and integration technologies
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
