A leading organisation is embarking on a major M&A programme and is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to play a key role in the integration of services, technologies, and data. This is a hands-on contract position where you’ll shape and deliver architecture across the full lifecycle.

The Role

• Lead enterprise architecture for post-acquisition integration.
• Define and govern the target architecture to support business and technology alignment.
• Oversee migration of applications, infrastructure, and data to ensure stability and scalability.
• Work with stakeholders across business, technology, and suppliers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Provide architectural oversight across transformation activities and ensure integration meets security, compliance, and operational standards.

What we’re looking for

• Proven track record as an Enterprise Architect in large-scale integration programmes.
• Strong experience in M&A scenarios: service integration, systems consolidation, and data migration.
• Breadth across applications, infrastructure, and data domains.
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders and translate business objectives into technology solutions.
• Strong governance and documentation capability, with a pragmatic approach to delivery.

Contract details

• 6-month initial term, extension highly likely.
• Outside IR35.
• Hybrid working model with some travel to site in Gloucester
