Role: Infrastructure & Cloud Specialist

Location: Hybrid – South West (occasional travel to UK sites)

Salary: £37,000 – £54,000 + benefits

Our client, a leading global engineering group, is seeking an Infrastructure & Cloud Specialist to help shape and deliver their cloud strategy. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the security, performance, and scalability of both on-premise and Azure cloud environments.

What you’ll do

• Design, deploy, and maintain hybrid cloud infrastructure across on-prem and Azure environments
• Lead on infrastructure modernisation, migration, and optimisation projects
• Define and uphold security, compliance, and performance standards
• Monitor system reliability and drive proactive improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT strategy with business objectives

What we’re looking for

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS and PaaS)
• Skilled in virtualisation, networking, and server management
• Knowledge of Entra ID, IDAM practices, and Azure IAC
• Experience influencing cloud adoption and governance at enterprise level
• Microsoft certification (Azure Administrator or Architect) desirable
