M365 Engineer

Job Title: IT Engineer – Windows 11, Intune & Azure Projects (Contract)

Location: Gloucester

Rate: Up to £300 per day (Outside IR35)

Duration: 3 months

We're working with a local authority delivering a series of infrastructure improvement projects across their IT estate. They’re looking for an experienced IT Engineer to support a number of focused technical deliverables over the next three months.

Key Projects:

• Windows 11 Build: Develop a Windows 11 image for existing Dell Windows 10 devices.
• Autopilot Rollout: Pilot and deploy Microsoft Autopilot using Intune for Highways teams, ensuring correct application deployment.
• Application Configuration: Ensure all business-critical applications are correctly configured as part of the rollout.
• SharePoint to Azure Migration: Design and deliver a migration solution from SharePoint Online to an Azure-based workspace.

What You'll Need:

• Proven experience with Windows 10 and 11 builds, deployment, and migration.
• Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and M365 (SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams).
• Strong knowledge of scripting for automation across Microsoft environments.
• Understanding of network protocols, security best practice, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Experience delivering technical rollouts or migrations in public sector or large-scale environments is desirable.

This is a delivery-focused role suited to someone who can hit the ground running and you must be willing to travel to site 3 days per week.
