Our client, a leading managed IT services provider supporting SMEs across the region, is hiring an On-site IT Support Engineer to provide dedicated support to a newly onboarded customer while also assisting the wider client base through remote support.
This role offers the opportunity to become a trusted technical presence on a key customer site while remaining closely connected to the wider service desk team. You’ll play an important role in ensuring reliable day-to-day IT operations and delivering a high standard of support across multiple environments.
What you’ll do
- Provide on-site IT support for a key customer, acting as the primary technical contact
- Deliver remote support to additional customers as part of the wider service team
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across Windows environments
- Support user onboarding, device setup, and system configuration
- Maintain accurate documentation, ticket updates, and technical records
You’ll work closely with the service desk, infrastructure engineers, and client stakeholders to ensure smooth IT operations and a consistently high level of service.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in IT support, service desk, or field engineering roles
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft environments
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, networking, and user issues
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites where required
