This is an excellent opportunity for someone with AV installation or onsite support experience to step into a customer-facing field role with incredible long-term development, manufacturer training, and exposure to cutting-edge AV and Unified Communications technologies.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for both proactive and reactive maintenance of audio visual and unified communications systems across client sites in the UK and occasionally Europe. This includes carrying out planned preventative maintenance, first-line fault finding, system testing and reporting. You’ll also provide technical support, ensuring minimal downtime and delivering a consistently high-quality service experience.
Key Responsibilities
Training or experience with manufacturers such as Shure, Biamp, QSC/Q-SYS, Crestron or Netgear.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on AV and UC systems.
- Provide first-line break/fix support, diagnosing faults and completing timely repairs.
- Support with occasional installation tasks including cabling and hardware terminations.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Offer telephone support to clients and internal teams for fault resolution.
- Produce accurate service reports and maintain job records.
- Ensure all work meets company standards and complies with health and safety guidelines.
- Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and internal departments.
- Around 2 years’ experience in AV installation, onsite technical support or a similar AV/IT role.
- Solid understanding of AV, video conferencing and UC technologies (e.g. Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms).
- Strong customer service skills with confidence working on client sites.
- Good IT literacy and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues logically.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Organised, adaptable, and able to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
