Head of Digital Product and Solutions (EPOS, Signage and Kiosks)

This is a unique opportunity to join a well-respected business with an established client base and play a key role in shaping and expanding its digital signage, kiosk and customer facing technology solutions. The successful candidate will help define the technology strategy, evaluate vendors and design integrated solutions while building the foundations of a future digital solutions team.

The Opportunity

You will take ownership of the company’s digital technology portfolio, covering digital signage, self-service kiosks, payment systems and related platforms.
Working closely with sales, delivery teams and technology partners, you will design integrated solutions for customers and support the rollout of new technologies across existing and new client environments.

This role offers a rare opportunity to join at an early stage of the digital strategy and help build and lead the capability as the business grows.

Our clients HQ is Midlands based, however hybrid working (1-2) days a week is offered for candidates with a longer commute. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and manage technology vendors across digital signage, kiosk and payment solutions
  • Design integrated hardware and software solutions for customer deployments
  • Define technical standards, documentation and solution architectures
  • Support sales teams with solution design, demonstrations and technical proposals
  • Work with project teams, vendors and installers during pilot programmes and rollouts
  • Monitor emerging technologies and recommend new products and improvements
Experience Required
  • Around 5+ years’ experience working with digital signage, kiosk technologies or similar customer facing systems
  • Experience assessing and working with technology vendors
  • Strong experience integrating hardware and software platforms
  • Experience supporting technical sales or solution delivery
Technical Knowledge
  • LED and LCD display technologies
  • Kiosk hardware including touchscreens, scanners, printers and peripherals
  • Digital signage CMS platforms
  • POS and payment system integration
  • Basic networking and connectivity
