Senior AV / PAVA Engineer
IN2-AV Recruitment is currently partnering with a specialist AV systems integrator to find a skilled and motivated Senior PAVA Field Engineer to cover the London and the Southern Counties regions.
With over 30 years of experience providing market-leading AV solutions, our client has built long-term relationships with prestigious clients in the Judicial and Local Government sectors and this will be their 2nd hire to their newly formed in-house PAVA Engineering team.
As a Senior PAVA Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting the HM Courts & Tribunal Service Court Recording Equipment contract. Your main responsibilities will include maintaining and installing PAVA systems, with a focus on fault finding and commissioning. As a Senior PAVA Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting the HM Courts & Tribunal Service Court Recording Equipment contract. Key Responsibilities:
- Utilise your extensive experience in PAVA systems, including Baldwin Boxall and TOA, to identify and resolve faults effectively.
- Develop positive relationships with HM Courts & Tribunal Service staff, representing our client professionally and building trust.
- Provide excellent customer service, creating a positive image and establishing strong connections with all customers.
- Offer remote technical support, minimising service disruptions and resolving issues promptly.
- Respond quickly to maintenance and emergency calls, diagnosing and repairing faults to restore PAVA systems.
- Assist in installations and upgrades, ensuring compliance with specifications and exceeding customer expectations.
- Commission and certify installations to maintain high-quality standards.
- Adhere to the company's ISO Processes & Procedures, completing accurate records in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, engaging with customers courteously and professionally.
- Possess a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Senior PAVA Engineer, with proficiency in fault finding and commissioning.
- Hold at least a GCSE level qualification or equivalent, ideally with recognised professional certifications or completed apprenticeship schemes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to explain technical issues effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a logical and analytical approach.
- Ability to work well under pressure and remain composed in challenging situations.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- PC literate with proficiency in standard software applications.
