Finance Director – Basingstoke - £100k-£120k + bonus / benefits
We’re partnering with a rapidly expanding, international technology business. With strong year-on-year growth and an ambitious trajectory, the UK & Ireland division is now looking to appoint a commercially minded Finance Director to play a key leadership role in its next phase of scale.
This is a senior opportunity to step into a visible, high-impact position within a business, where finance is a true strategic partner to the wider organisation.
The Opportunity
Reporting into senior leadership, you’ll take full ownership of the finance function across the UK and Ireland. This is far more than a traditional finance role — you’ll act as a trusted advisor to commercial and operational teams, helping to shape performance, drive profitability, and influence key business decisions.
You’ll lead a capable finance team while also working cross-functionally with sales, operations, and leadership to unlock growth opportunities and improve financial performance across multiple service lines.
Key Focus Areas
- Acting as a strategic partner to leadership, providing insight and challenge to support growth and performance
- Leading financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes, including long-range planning
- Using data and analytics to identify trends, optimise revenue streams, and improve margins
- Driving performance through KPI development, tracking, and reporting
- Overseeing monthly and annual reporting cycles, ensuring accuracy and clarity for stakeholders
- Supporting commercial decision-making, including contract evaluation and pricing strategies
- Improving financial processes, controls, and systems to support scaling operations
- Leading, mentoring, and developing the finance team
What We’re Looking For
- A qualified finance professional with experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable insight
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams
- Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders across the business
- Highly organised, analytical, and detail-focused
- Experience working with IFRS and robust financial controls
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to operate both strategically and operationally
The Setup
- Hybrid working (3 days per week in the office – Basingstoke area)
- Full-time position with flexibility required during key reporting periods
- Occasional travel across European offices
