Overview
We are seeking an experienced Treasury Manager to take full ownership of the treasury function within a lean, fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong operational treasury experience who thrives in a hands-on position and is motivated by process improvement, automation, and driving efficiencies.
The successful candidate will act as the sole treasury expert, working closely with senior stakeholders to optimise cash flow, enhance reporting, and support key financial initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the day-to-day treasury operations
- Deliver and maintain a robust 13-week cash flow forecast, ensuring clear linkage to budgets
- Drive working capital optimisation initiatives across the business
- Manage relationships with banking partners, including oversight of debt facilities and covenant compliance
- Perform covenant calculations and ensure ongoing compliance and reporting
- Identify and implement process improvements, with a strong focus on automation and efficiency
- Leverage treasury tools and emerging technologies (including AI tools such as Copilot) to enhance processes
- Support audit requirements and ensure stability across treasury operations during key reporting periods
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership in a hands-on, high-visibility role
Key Requirements
- Proven treasury operations experience (mid-level; not entry-level or Head of Treasury level)
- Strong experience with short-term cash flow forecasting (13-week), budgeting linkage, and working capital management
- Confident liaising with banks and managing debt structures and covenant requirements
- Demonstrable experience in process automation and continuous improvement
- Strong data literacy, including advanced Excel skills; SQL or database experience is advantageous
- Experience with NetSuite is beneficial
- Professionally qualified (ACA, CIMA, or equivalent) or ACT (AMCT/SCT) preferred, though alternative career paths will be considered
- Comfortable operating as a standalone treasury lead with full ownership
- Intellectually curious, proactive, and confident challenging existing processes
- Not suited to candidates seeking a first treasury role or a step up to Director/Head of Treasury

- No requirement for regular office presence
- Occasional travel to London may be required
Salary
- £75,000 – £85,000
