Job Description:

Role Overview:

The Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and managing the BeyondTrust Privileged Access Management (PAM) platform for Public Sector Client. This includes overseeing the BeyondTrust Password Safe and Privileged Remote Access solutions, ensuring secure privileged access across the organization. The role requires deep technical expertise in BeyondTrust products and a strong focus on the implementation of PAM controls to protect privileged accounts and data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • BeyondTrust Password Safe: Implement and configure for credential vaulting and management.
  • Privileged Remote Access: Deploy and manage secure vendor/admin access.
  • Configure automated password rotation for privileged/service accounts.
  • Implement session recording, monitoring, and keystroke logging.
  • Configure Just-in-Time (JIT) access workflows.
  • Onboard Windows/Linux Servers, network devices, and applications to PAM.
  • Integrate with SIEM for PAM event logging and alerting.
  • Ensure compliance through reporting and evidence gathering.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience with BeyondTrust (Password Safe, Privileged Remote Access).
  • Strong knowledge of privileged session recording, password rotation, and vaulting.
  • Experience with onboarding Windows Server, Linux/Unix, and network devices.
  • Good understanding of Active Directory and PAM integration.
  • Experience with SIEM integration for security monitoring.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST CSF.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for connector issues and session failures.
  • Ability to obtain SC-level clearance.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related STEM field.
  • BeyondTrust certifications (Password Safe Administrator, Privileged Remote Access).
  • Familiarity with other PAM platforms (eg, CyberArk, Delinea).
  • Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python).
  • Experience with database privileged access (SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Experience in public sector or critical national infrastructure environments.
  • Knowledge of OT/ICS environments.

The role may involve occasional travel and requires excellent communication skills to support customer engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
