Technial Architect - Digital
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Digital Technical Architect Lead to join a major digital transformation programme within a large, complex organization.
This is a senior architecture role, leading the design and assurance of modern digital products and shared platforms, working closely with engineering teams in agile delivery environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and own technical architecture for products and platforms
- Produce high-quality solution designs aligned to enterprise standards
- Create and govern architecture patterns and reference architectures
- Shape solution options during discovery and inception phases
- Work collaboratively with senior stakeholders and multi-disciplinary delivery teams
- Ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable architecture across services
Essential Experience:
- Senior Technical/Solution Architect on complex enterprise programmes
- Strong systems integration and cross-domain architecture experience
- Agile/DevOps delivery environments
- Architecture modelling (ArchiMate, UML)
- Microservices and API-led architecture
- CI/CD and modern engineering practices
- Cloud architecture across AWS and Azure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Serverless)
- Strong background in security architecture and IAM
Profile:
- Proven lead architect on medium-high complexity services
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working across multiple services or large-scale platforms
