IT Support Apprentice
Working across both North Walsham High School and Millfield Primary School, you will play a key role in supporting the Trust's IT infrastructure, maintaining devices and networks, resolving technical issues, and assisting with audio-visual services. You'll gain exposure to a broad range of technologies in a supportive environment.
Role
- Provide first-line IT support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, iPads, printers, and other IT equipment
- Create and manage user accounts across Microsoft 365 and other key systems
- Support the maintenance and security of the Trust's network infrastructure
- Maintain accurate IT asset inventories and equipment records
- Assist with cyber security activities and promote safe technology use in line with NCSC and DfE guidance
- Set up, maintain, and operate audio-visual equipment for school events and presentations
- Create and update IT documentation and contribute to the digital knowledge base
- Support IT-related projects and technology improvements across the Trust
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders to deliver excellent IT services
