Delivery Manager / Scrum Master Fully Remote Contract - Outside IR35 - £600 - £700 PD6 Months Overview We’re seeking an experienced Delivery Manager / Scrum Master to lead the delivery of digital product initiatives within the Life & Pensions sector. This is a high-impact contract role overseeing the development of modern financial services platforms and customer-facing digital solutions. You’ll play a central role connecting Product, Engineering and Proposition teams, ensuring delivery excellence while maintaining agile best practices. This is an opportunity to work on meaningful transformation programmes in a collaborative, delivery-focused environment.Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of digital products in an Agile/SCRUM environment
- Partner closely with Product Owners to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable user stories
- Facilitate SCRUM ceremonies and champion Agile best practices
- Manage delivery expectations around scope, timelines and budget
- Act as the key interface between stakeholders, sponsors and engineering teams
- Ensure smooth collaboration across cross-functional teams
- Provide clear, concise and audience-aware reporting
- Proactively identify risks, blockers and delivery improvements
- Drive accountability, ownership and a strong delivery culture
- Strong working knowledge of Insurance – ideally Life Insurance and/or Pensions
- Proven success delivering projects in similar regulated financial services environments
- Experience acting as a SCRUM Master (certification desirable)
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery and change management
- Demonstrable ability to manage delivery timelines and budgets using SCRUM techniques
- Experience delivering financial services applications using modern web technologies
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to produce clear written documentation and reports
- Delivery-focused mindset with a proactive, self-starting approach
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
