Finance Programme Manager – Hybrid / London – £120K + Bonus & Excellent Benefits Overview: A prestigious global financial institution is seeking an experienced Finance Programme Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale, business-critical finance transformation initiatives.In this high-impact role, you will oversee programmes focused on enhancing financial systems, processes, and controls—ensuring alignment with regulatory standards, operational efficiency, and strategic business objectives. Typical initiatives may include finance system upgrades, regulatory reporting enhancements, data and MI improvements, process automation, and operating model change.You will manage a team of Project Managers, working closely with Finance, Risk, Compliance, and Technology teams to ensure successful delivery and long-term business adoption.Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and delivery of finance transformation programmes, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
- Align programme objectives with wider business and regulatory strategy.
- Provide leadership and direction to Project Managers, ensuring consistent governance and delivery standards.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across Finance, Risk, and Technology, providing clear communication and executive reporting.
- Oversee vendor and third-party engagements, ensuring value for money and quality of delivery.
- Monitor programme risks, dependencies, and benefits realisation, with a strong focus on compliance, efficiency, and control.
- Drive continuous improvement across finance change delivery frameworks and methodologies.
- 10+ years’ experience delivering large-scale finance change or transformation programmes within financial services.
- Proven track record in finance systems implementation, process optimisation, and regulatory change.
- Strong expertise in programme governance, controls, and change management.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing delivery teams.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively at executive level.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, risks, and complex stakeholder landscapes.
- £120,000 base salary
