Finance Transformation Lead – Financial Services - £150K + 20% Bonus & Excellent Benefits - Hybrid / London Overview: A forward-thinking financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Finance Technology Transformation Lead. This hybrid London-based role (3 days in-office) will drive the modernization of finance systems and processes, enhancing operational efficiency and supporting data-driven decision-making.This is a 12-month contract with potential for extension. Role & Responsibilities:

• Strategy & Roadmap – Develop and execute a finance technology transformation plan aligned with business objectives.
• Technology Leadership – Lead finance system implementations (ERP, EPM, RPA, analytics), with hands-on expertise in D365, Blackline, and Workday Adaptive to deliver cost-effective, efficient solutions.
• Collaboration – Act as the link between Finance, IT, and business units to ensure compliant, practical, and scalable technology solutions.
• Process Optimisation – Streamline finance processes, improve data integration, and strengthen governance frameworks.
• Project & Change Management – Deliver transformation programmes end-to-end, driving adoption through training, communication, and change initiatives.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Professional certifications (PMP, CPA, CFA, ITIL, Agile) desirable.
• 10+ years in finance, technology, or transformation roles, with at least 5 years leading finance system implementations.
• Proven hands-on experience with D365 (essential) Blackline, and Workday Adaptive.
• Strong knowledge of finance operations, compliance, and internal controls.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience in high-change, carve-out, or PE-backed environments is highly desirable.
• Strategic, action-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Package:

• Up to £150K basic salary.
• 20% - 30% annual bonus.
