Product Owner

Product Manager | £700 p/d | London | Financial Services Overview: Our client, a global financial services organisation, is seeking an experienced Product Manager to support the delivery of key IM capabilities across the front, middle, and back office of their international marketing business.This contract role blends strategic product ownership with hands-on delivery, acting as the link between Traders, Sales Managers, Operations, and Technology. You will lead the discovery, definition, and delivery of technology and process enhancements that support real commercial outcomes within a fast-paced, global environment.Role & Responsibilities:

• Define and manage the product roadmap for risk and compliance systems supporting Marketing IM
• Gather, prioritise, and refine requirements from risk, compliance, and trading stakeholders
• Translate business needs into clear product definitions, backlogs, and delivery plans
• Partner closely with engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions for risk reporting, P&L attribution, and compliance
• Drive the adoption of tools such as real-time dashboards, risk monitoring, and scenario analysis platforms
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to enhance and integrate commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) risk platforms
• Ensure technology delivery aligns with regulatory, compliance, and operational requirements
• Champion Agile ways of working and contribute to effective product governance and delivery practices
• Act as the voice of the customer, promoting user-centric design and continuous improvement

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in product management or business analysis within commodities or capital markets
• Proven track record working closely with front-office users in fast-paced trading environments
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical capability, including SQL, Excel, and dashboarding tools
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments and product discovery
• Hands-on experience with ETRM, CTRM, or trading platforms
• Solid understanding of risk concepts (market, credit, liquidity, operational)

Contract Details:

• Initial contract 12 month contract
• £700 p/d
• Hybrid working – 3 days per week on-site in London
