We’re supporting a leading organisation in recruiting a Senior Engineer to join their Infrastructure Operations function on a 12-month FTC.In this role, you'll lead and mentor a technical team, take ownership of complex incidents, and play a pivotal part in maintaining and improving a highly secure and resilient infrastructure.What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading, coaching and supporting a team of engineers.
• Prioritising and managing tasks to ensure technical incidents are resolved quickly and effectively.
• Working collaboratively with infrastructure teams, project managers, capacity and availability managers.
• Troubleshooting issues, identifying recurring problems, and escalating where necessary.
• Contributing to a culture of professionalism, innovation, collaboration and trust.

Network & Security Technologies

• Cisco switching, routing, wireless and security
• Network protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, ICMP, IPSEC
• Cisco ASA, Cisco Firepower (NGFW)
• Palo Alto firewalls
• Cisco ISE & Prime
• Cisco ACI
• BIG-IP F5 (LTM, ASM)

Virtualisation & Cloud

• VMware or similar virtual network environments
• Azure and/or AWS experience

Monitoring & Tooling

• PRTG or similar network monitoring tools
