Systems & CAFM Development Manager

An NHS Trust in the East of England is seeking a senior member of its Estates and Facilities team to provide expert management, leadership, and technical oversight. This is a high-impact role focused on ensuring the effective development, management, and operation of Estates and Facilities services.

You will take responsibility for maintaining high-quality data and information, developing policies, and ensuring compliance across all areas of the Building Engineering Maintenance (BEM) department. Your expertise in Computer-Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) will be key to supporting and improving operational systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary support for systems used by the Building Engineering Maintenance team, including the CAFM system (Concept).
  • Ensure accurate recording of data to enable the safe, efficient, and effective management of BEM tasks, workflows, and workforce.
  • Oversee and manage processes and information systems related to the asset collection programme.
  • Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and safe systems of work.
  • Act as the Trust’s technical and managerial lead for systems and services within your remit.

Skills and Experience:

  • Significant experience in technical or Estates management roles.
  • Proven ability in change management.
  • Strong knowledge of CAFM data and systems.
  • Experience managing a team, including team development, people management, training, and appraisals.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
