Data Administration Apprentice

Interm IT (UK) is a growing IT Managed Services Provider, Our managed service helps schools who want reliable technology to support their educational environment by providing dedicated consultants as an extended member of their team, backed up by our in-house support desk and the use of cloud-based monitoring tools.

Role

We are looking for an energetic and motivated individual to join our busy office team. This is a key support role working closely with our purchasing and finance teams to ensure our customers receive an efficient, accurate, and professional service.

The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills, a high level of attention to detail, and a confident working knowledge of Microsoft 365. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast‐paced, team‐oriented office environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with suppliers and provide estimates to customers for a wide range of products and services
  • Process sales orders accurately and efficiently
  • Manage customer accounts and maintain up-to-date records
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely order fulfilment
  • Handle customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional manner
  • Prepare quotes and invoices
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant departments
  • Assist with sales tracking and performance reporting
  • Work alongside the Finance Team to ensure timely payments of invoices
  • Support the finance team with administrative tasks, including invoice queries, payment tracking, and reconciliation support
  • Support general administrative tasks within the office

Training

The instructor leads a live online training session so you can learn at your own pace and in the comfort of your own home or office. A full training schedule is provided upon a confirmed start date, however training is typical 1 day per week.

  • CompTIA/TestOut Pro Certified Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft Power BI
  • Includes elements of business administration (Project management, stakeholders, communication and presentations)
  • Training Biweekly classes (length 3 hours) alternating between
  • Data+ and Excel/Power BI (NB: Exams optional)

We are looking to offer full time employment upon successful completion of the apprenticeship. We believe in developing our talent internally and have a clear and personalised progression route for each of our employees which is reviewed annually.
