Support Engineer - SC Cleared (DV Eligible)

Hereford/Hybrid | £55-65k + Benefits

Our client transforms complex geotemporal data into fast, actionable intelligence. Their advanced data-fusion technology helps defence, intelligence, public-sector, and commercial organisations cut analysis time, reduce operational costs, and make high-confidence, mission-critical decisions.

They are expanding their team and seeking multiple Support Engineers to play a key role in supporting their platform and customers.

Requirements

• Active SC clearance and willingness to undergo DV.
• Ability to work 1-3 days per week on-site in Hereford (project dependent).

Skills & Experience

• Proven Level 1/Level 2 technical support experience in a customer-facing environment, with strong ticket management and quality-focused resolution.
• Hands-on exposure to Microsoft Azure administration, with the drive to develop deeper cloud capability.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Bicep, Pulumi) and the ability to run, review, and apply controlled changes.
• Solid grasp of networking fundamentals: IP Addressing, DNS, routing, Firewalls, and troubleshooting approaches.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset: evidence gathering, hypothesis formation, root-cause isolation, and clear documentation.
• Comfort using PowerShell and/or Bash, plus basic automation skills (eg, Ansible) for repeatable operational tasks.
