Role: Cyber Security Support Analyst/Junior SOC Analyst
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £35,000 to 45,000 per annum (DOE)
Security Clearance: Active DV Clearance Required
Working Pattern: To provide 24/7 protection, this role operates on a shift rota that includes both days and nights.

The Role & Environment

This is a 1st-line Cyber Helpdesk role, serving as the essential first point of contact for cyber-related support. Rather than requiring deep technical hacking skills, we are looking for disciplined, observant professionals with a basic awareness of cyber principles and a strong desire to progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the 1st line support for cyber queries and incident reporting.
• Keep a watchful eye on security dashboards and escalate potential threats to senior analysts.
• Ensure all cyber events are documented accurately within the system.
• Work closely with the wider security team to maintain the integrity of the client's network.

Requirements

• A strong willingness to learn and a genuine interest in Cyber Security.
• Previous experience in a Cyber Security helpdesk, 1st-line support, or a disciplined military/government environment is highly valued.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and communicate technical issues clearly.
