Healthtech Integration Engineer - Remote (UK)

Salary: Starting from £55,000 per annum, plus bonus
Location: Fully remote - UK-based

We're hiring an Integration Engineer to join a growing health technology business delivering modern solutions across the UK and Ireland. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong HL7 experience and a background in healthcare systems integration to join a fast-moving team working on meaningful, high-impact projects.

You'll be responsible for building and supporting integrations between a cloud-based platform and core healthcare systems, working closely with customer technical teams to ensure reliable, secure and scalable deployments.

Responsibilities:

• Creating and maintaining interfaces across healthcare systems
• Supporting new customer deployments
• Investigating and resolving issues across data flow, connectivity and message handling
• Working with customer-side technical teams during implementation, testing and go-live
• Helping define repeatable integration processes to support future growth
• Contributing to technical documentation and interface specifications
• Playing a broader part in a collaborative team where engineering, product and operational thinking all come together

Skills:

• Strong experience delivering integrations in healthcare environments
• Solid background working with HL7 v2.x
• Good understanding of healthcare workflows and the movement of patient and clinical data between systems
• Experience working with systems such as RIS, LIMS, PAS or EPR
• Comfortable handling connectivity and infrastructure-related integration challenges, including secure network communications
• Ability to diagnose problems methodically and work across technical layers to resolve them
• Experience working with healthcare organisations in the UK or Ireland
• A practical, adaptable approach and the confidence to operate in a growing business environment
• Exposure to FHIR would be highly beneficial
