iO Associates are working with a top-tier consultancy renowned for its delivery of complex transformation projects across Cloud, Security, and Networking. Their latest programme involves a critical Proxy migration and they are now seeking a Proxy Specialist with deep technical expertise to lead and support the transition.

This is a key position in the programme - the design, BOM, and migration plan are already in place, and your expertise will help guide execution, mitigate risks, and ensure continuity of secure web access.

The role is hybrid, with 1-2 days per week onsite in London.

• Extensive hands-on experience delivering Proxy migration projects, particularly from Bluecoat (Symantec) to FortiProxy
• Deep expertise in FortiProxy and Web Secure Gateway solutions
• Strong knowledge of Bluecoat, including translating Legacy configurations into new vendor environments
• A solid background in network security - including web filtering, SSL inspection, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
• Familiarity with Proxy Server architecture, deployment best practices, and performance optimisation
• Experience building and migrating URL filtering, access control policies, and other web access rules
• Strong understanding of SSL decryption, inspection mechanisms, and secure traffic handling
• Proficiency with core protocols such as TCP/IP and HTTP/S
