London (2 Days Per Week On Site)
Contract: £500-£750 per day (Outside IR35)
OR Permanent: Up to £120,000 Base Salary

We are currently seeking an experienced SC Cleared Data Scientist to join a high-profile programme delivering critical analytical and data-driven capabilities within the defence sector.

This role requires candidates who have previously worked with the MOD (Ministry of Defence) and are comfortable operating within secure environments.

Key Requirements

• Active SC Clearance
• Proven experience as a Data Scientist in defence or government environments
• Previous experience working directly with the MOD
• Strong background in:
  • Machine Learning
  • Predictive Analytics
  • Python/R
  • SQL and large-scale data processing
  • Data visualisation and stakeholder reporting
• Experience handling sensitive or classified data

Desirable Experience

• Knowledge of AI/ML deployment in secure environments
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with defence intelligence, operational analysis, or secure systems
